Founder, Next Gen Rail Network | Host, Women in Rail Podcast

Linda Laurello is a fourth-generation railroader dedicated to inspiring the industry's future. As the founder of the Next Gen Rail Network and host of the Women in Rail Podcast, she leverages her deep industry roots to mentor and advocate for the next generation of railroad professionals.

 

Prior to her current ventures, Linda spent over 20 years at Delta Railroad Services, where she ultimately served as Chairman of the Board and CEO. Her extensive leadership tenure included pivotal C-level roles such as:

  • Chief Executive Officer

  • Chief Operations Officer

  • Chief Financial Officer

  • Head of Contracts and Project Management

 

Linda pairs her practical experience with a strong academic foundation, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from John Carroll University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Northeastern University.

 

Deeply committed to her community, she serves in various advisory and board-level positions, including the Board of Trustees for the Ashtabula Regional Medical Center (ARMC) Foundation.

 

When she isn't advocating for the rail industry, Linda prioritizes time with her family. She enjoys gaining new experiences alongside her three children, her extended family, and her two dogs.
